The NCAA has released it's 2012 Women's NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships “Preselection” Psych Sheet.
This psych sheet includes the three individual events that everyone is slated to enter, but does NOT include where the cut lines will be drawn. That updated list will likely be released later today.
Last year, the line for invites into individual events was drawn at top 29 or 30, and at the top 15 relays. Note that this does not mean that swimmers ranked below 30th won't be swimming the event, or relays. There is still the option to swim “B” events for swimmers who are otherwise invited to the meet.
What this list does show us is which events coaches have chosen as their swimmers' entries, which should relieve tension for most swimmers waiting to see if they've made the cut.
Stay tuned as we will update when the cut psych sheets are released, and watch as we mine through the data for interesting entries, and score the meet out as seeded.
