The Indian River State College swimmers are one day closer to solidifying their chances at continuing their winning streaks at the NJCAA National Swimming and Diving Championships. Here's a look at the action from yesterday's meet.

200 Free Relay

Women's
Indian River's team of Natalie Lenderman, Tryshia Centeno, Chandel Domaso and Maria Munoz hung on to a tight race in the 200 free relay. Lenderman was able to give the Pioneers a slight lead going into the breaststroke length but it was Domaso who created significant space during her fly that lifted IRSC to a clear victory against Daytona State College's Sophie Drake, Katie Pheil, Hannah Yancey and Ashly Isaacson.

Men's
The term dominate performance doesn't even begin to describe the clinic that was the Indian River 200 free relay team of Bradley Tandy, Logan Mosley, Luis Flores and Caleb Weir. Finishing almost 5 seconds ahead of Daytona State College's relay team, each of the four freestyle swimmers went under 19.80 and were able to pull together for a time of 1:17.70.

500 Free

Women's
The Indian River ladies were able to continue their momentum with a 1-2-5 finish out of Courtney Parenti, Hallie Petersohn and Kelly Faulkner (respectively). While it was a battle throughout the 500 between Petersohn, Parenti and Daytona State College's Sophie Drake, it was the Indian River ladies that were able to end on top.

Men's
Similar to the ladies, Bryan Clarke (Indian River) was able to help his cause as he out-touched two Daytona State College swimmers (Takashi Worrell and Dominic Walter, respectively). Clarke had great support from his teammates Teodoro Boscaino, Chad Harrington, Tyler McGrew and Richard Andrews as they rounded out the IRSC finishes in 4-5-6-8 (respectively).

200 IM

Women's
Centeno of Indian River proved to be too much to handle in the 200 IM as she touched at a time of 2:01.20 (3.44 ahead of Darton College's Anna Macht). Helping Centeno were Solyvette Lizardi, Sarah D'Antoni, Maria Munoz and Annie Cohoat with touches in third, fourth, sixth and eighth.

Men's
One-two punches were landed on the men's side as Edwin Angjeli and Jared Pike (both Indian River). Angjeli was able to palce first with a time of 1:50.06 while Pike touched at 1:51.43. Darton College and Daytona State College both has two top 8 finishes to help their causes.

50 Freestyle

Women's
In what was a very close race between Natalie Lenderman (IRSC) and Ahsly Isaacson (DSC), Lenderman was able to just out-touch Issaacson for first place points (23.50 to 23.61). Supporting Lenderman was the pair of Chandel Domaso and Alyson Kaywork who placed third and fourth, respectively.

Men's
If the 200 free relay was any indication of the sprint (free) dominance for the Indian River Pioneers, you can imagine the results of this event. Bradley Tandy touched in first with a time of 19.18, Caleb Weir placed second with a time of 19.84 and Luis Flores came in third at 20.01. Daytona State College got some support from Marco Gonzalez, but Timothy Zoltowski (IRSC) then tied Lincoln College's Richard Russell for fifth place points.
