…New Alabama head coach Dennis Pursley has begun to round out his coaching staff by announcing that he will retain 5-year assistant James Barber. Barber works predominantly with the distance and stroke groups in Tuscaloosa. Like Pursley, Barber has experience working with the US National Team, as during the 90′s he worked as a member of the US National Team Resident coaching staff (under Jonty Skinner, who is a good friend of Pursley's, a fellow Alabama alum, and who has been in the UK working under Pursley's National Team regime).
